The grand celebrations started off with decorating the entire mall exquisitely with green and white from August 1st. The mall was a beautiful sight to look at with trail of ribbons on the ceiling representing our nation’s colors, larger than life truck art prints surrounding the atrium and provincial elements around the mall, bogies and a wall of archive images on the 1st and 2nd floor. In addition to that brands joined in the spirit of independence by launching discounts of flat 50% off and up to 70% off and decorating their outlets.
The mall hosted a lot of fun activities, competitions and games as part of Independence Day celebrations.
The highlight was 70 daily dolmen draws followed by 3D projection on the monumental mall exterior that covered the history of the country. On the night of 13th August, the celebrations were taken to the next level with Asim Azhar’s surprise performance followed by Independence Day parade, midnight countdown, fireworks and flag hoisting.
14th August was celebrated with a cake cutting ceremony by Fahad Mustafa, Dino, Khalid Malik and the cast of Na MaloomAfraad 2 to mark the birthday of the nation. It was then followed by a parade and performance from various school kids dressed in cultural outfits representing the four provinces of Pakistan.

Karachi, 23 March 2017: On the auspicious occasion where the nation celebrates 77 years of the passing of Lahore Resolution, Dolmen Mall, Pakistan’s first international standard mall, brought together, week-long #BeingPakistani celebrations.
From 19 to 26 March, Dolmen Mall customers from Pakistan and abroad joined in mall festivities and paid tribute to the country by sharing their pledges to bring about a positive change in Pakistan.

The pledge book and presidential booth activities at the mall initiated a movement to encourage Pakistanis to take personal ownership to make the country a better place. To this effect and under the mall's community partnership endeavour, Dolmen Cares, the mall helped raise awareness for down syndrome in support of the Karachi Down Syndrome Programme.
On 23 March, a resounding national anthem led by children from the Karachi Down Syndrome Programme and Ali Hamza from the band Noori along with other celebrities and customers amplified Dolmen Mall Clifton. Children from Markaz-e-Umeed were also hosted at Dolmen Mall Tariq Road.

Home to leading local and international brands, Dolmen Mall Clifton hosted an innovative furniture, home and garden accessories exhibition from 10 – 16 April 2017 in view of the upcoming season of festivities with Ramadan, Eid and weddings.
Renowned architects and celebrities visited the weeklong, Home Meets Style exhibit to endorse and buy the furniture brands suiting their preference. Affordable and customized package displays, larger than life creative furniture decorations and prominent brands activities intrigued all onlookers.

On 14th May 2017 Sindbad hosted an event for bloggers and Celebrity moms to have a fun day out with their families at their Dolmen Mall Clifton and Tariq Road outlet for Mother’s Day.
Sindbad at Dolmen Mall Tariq Road opened in 2011, with games and attractions for families with young children. Seeing the growing demand for entertainment for the entire family, the management decided to extend their outlet. This year Sindbad introduced new bumper cars and renovated the outlet with a new themed look.
“The jungle themed look of the outlet plays with a child imagination, and we have included models of different amazon and African birds in our design to make it more educational” said the CEO Ms. Sidra Nadeem.
The bumper cars are unlike any other bumper cars available in Karachi, as they not only move back and forth but also have a spin function. These cars also have a laser game embedded in them, where players can shoot at other cars while driving and send them in a spin, while earning points for themselves. The scoreboard is up on display inside the bumper car arena. “The best part about these cars is that the whole family can enjoy them together and they cater to an age range from six to sixty!” said Sindbad Marketing Manager, Sana Khan.

27 January 2017, Karachi: Dolmen Mall, Pakistan’s first international standard mall, hosted the young athletes from Special Olympics Pakistan (SOP) at Dolmen Mall Clifton.
Under the umbrella of Dolmen Cares, Dolmen Mall partnered with SOP to host Young Athletes, prior to their annual marathon on February 5th at the Moin Khan Academy, for a guided tour of the mall, a fun visit to Sindbad, a chocolate surprise by Lal’s Chocolate and a scrumptious meal by McDonald’s at the food court.
